We went to my niece's wedding this summer and they got a piñata for the kids. They danced with bridesmaids and photobombed the bride and groom. I think it all worked out the way it usually does. I respect people's choices too but it can be pretty sweet when kids get to partake.

I turned 50 and now I keep getting brochures for cruises that don’t allow anyone under 18. It makes me sad. I don’t think I’m interested in hanging out with the kind of retired people who don’t want young people around them. I wonder if they have ever had the joy of really conversing with a teenager.
